Endbands are blue and green silk soie perlée, with a blue ribbon bookmark hanging from the top. The cover is hand foiled in gold foil (purchased from Rocky Mountain Leather Supply). Cover design is based on the window in The Obscure Distillery, with key logo in the center.

Epic: The Muscial Lyric Book

I hope this video will show the foiling process. I created a design for the cover digitally, then printed it in plain recycled paper (nothing thick at all). After securing the foil to the book cover, I lay the design over the foil and traced it with a foil quill, the nib of which is heated metal.
