Last weekend ‘Blau’ was awarded Best Northern Short at the FRAMED Animation Film Festival in Groningen ✨🩵!

Film still from ‘Blau’, a stop-motion animation film (11:45 min.), now on view in kunstruimte Block C @Kunst14a.

For this film, I had the opportunity to collaborate with sound animator Wart Wamsteker, who knew how to create sounds that would resonate beautifully and profoundly with these visuals, and musician René Duursma whose enchanting and experimental soundscape carries the while picture.

The film will be screened as part of an exhibition, in which drawings, leporello’s, booklets, collages, film stills and a diorama that were made during the working process will be presented.
The exhibition will be on show until April 26th 2025.

@Kunst14a is open every Friday and Saturday from 1pm - 5pm and by appointment.
