My friend is having a bachelorette party at a medieval faire and (in true nerd fashion) we are supposed to go in some sort of costume.
I decided to try to make an iron-age celt costume(yeah, i know its the wrong era), but on a tight budget. So I'm cheating and going to have to give up on being historically accurate.
For my first cheat, I tried to make $10 shoes look somewhat like turnshoes.
Sprang enthusiasts!
I'm looking for books on sprang (HowTo and patterns). I'm looking in the wrong places or there isn't much available. It's an old craft and probably passed down verbally generation to generation.
Are there books available that are still in print?

Whoever decided that Saturday should be spent at the #RenaissanceFaire from sunrise to sunset obviously did not talk to the person who decided Sunday morning would start with a 5K.
(They're the same person who is also me who is also a jerk).
Would like a do-over on the weekend please. One that doesn't end with ouchie feet would be nice.
