Hab keine schönen Rummel-Bilder, darum hier das Kaiser-Otto-Fest in #Magdeburg, ein jährlich stattfindendes #Mittelalterfest. Wir waren 2022 mal dort und es regnete zwischendurch immer wieder heftig, was für total starkes Licht sorgte (das ich natürlich auf keinem Foto richtig eingefangen habe). Im Hintergrund sieht man noch ganz klein das Riesenrad der Magdeburger Herbstmesse auf der anderen Elbseite, es ist eines der ältesten Volksfeste Deutschlands (fand erstmals 1010 statt), wusste ich gar nicht. Ich war trotzdem noch nie dort. 🙈

I don't have good photos of a funfair, so here are two from the Kaiser Otto Fest (Emperor Otto Festival) in Magdeburg, an annual #medievalFair. When we attended in 2022, it was plagued by spells of heavy rain, though the light was spectacular at times. Naturally, none of my photos managed to capture that. In the background, you might spot the Ferris wheel of the Magdeburg Herbstmesse on the opposite bank of the Elbe river. It's one of Germany's oldest #Volksfest events (first recorded in 1010) – which I learned today, haha. I've never actually been. 🙈
