I need help.
I have installed ubuntu 24.02 and what to access it from another machine, ideally via vnc.
I go into settings, system, and enable remote control and desktop sharing. Some sites say, now I can connect via vnc. But this does not work. When I read what is written there it says I have to use the RDP protocol. Do I really have to install a VNC server separately on ubuntu to use a vnc client?
RealVNC on iPad did not allow me to change the port to 3390 or 3389 as Ubuntu sets it up. I also could not change the ports on the ubuntu server side.
I installed a couple of RDP client tools on my iPad, but they all tell me the connection got closed, if I want to do it again.
Is there really now way to connect to ubuntu without installing add. SW?
