Tuesday 26th May 2026. Here is my last week of contract at HMCTS. I am actively looking for my next contract preferably Outside IR35. I am a Technical Lead / Principal Engineer. I help teams with migration to Java 21 / 26. The current tech stack conmsists of Microsoft Azure, Angular, Kubernetes and is definitely cloud-native. I worked on an old CQRS / BPM implementation very recently, which was built on Jakarta EE stack. You got it Eventual Consistency, Event Sourcing and View Storage. The databases tend to me relational Postgresql and some clients (years ago) have stuck entire JSON entries into a row, I have seen those with the attempted LiquidBase headaches.

I can commute from Milton Keynes to central London (1 or 2 days per month)
