Globetrotting cosmopolitanThere are a couple other treatment options, including Optune (a device you wear on your head) and some other medications. But in general, treatment is essentially unchanged over the years and it is one reason I am passionate about donating to research efforts. Current options aren’t very effective or easy. I think we can find better, more effective treatments that provide for better quality of life for a longer prognosis.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions that help you to see if your clinician is qualified to provide your care. All doctors want to do the best job for their patients & finding one who is knowledgeable, experienced, and also is a good fit for YOU is very important to the experience of a brain tumour/brain cancer.
