An interesting historic video about the date of Christmas from Religion for Breakfast. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uU8e-pDqYQ
The date likely goes back to a historic Christian beliefs about the Vernal Equinox and Passover being important dates for Jesus' conception.
It's a fascinating history lesson.
Since the Rapture is being discussed all across the internet today, let me share this great Religion For Breakfast video on the origins of the theology and how it's spread, mostly in the late 1800s / early 1900s into the mainstream largely came from a particular translation / study Bible. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvsjMuHkGBc

I watched a fascinating video from Religion for Breakfast this past weekend. In the video, Dr. Andrew Henry goes through the historic origins of the Easter Bunny myth.
Short Version: It seems to be a random local tradition from some small region of Germany that only really spread much further after German immigrants brought their tradition with them to the US, specifically Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania Dutch). There is evidence for concurrent German traditions for an Easter Stork and Easter Fox in other areas. However, there's not really evidence for Pagan roots of the traditions associated with the Easter Bunny.

Wie die Romantiker* (einmal mehr) eine "uralte Tradition" erfanden. Exhibit A: der Osterhase.

Spannend: antikolonial motivierter Atheismus statt Traditionalismus am Beispiel Neuseeland.
