The Air Force released a photo of the B-21 Raider this week being refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker that entered service in 1957. The B-21 is built for a 2040s threat environment. The tanker keeping it airborne is 68 years old — and Congress just blocked the Air Force from retiring any more of them.
