Wow! #TIL from a customer review that some #Refrigerators now do not restart automatically after a power outage, requiring manual intervention. Which means your food warms up and rots until manual intervention arrives.

Someone actually sells this, like it's a good idea for that "feature" to be an extra that is only in some models.

Really infuriating response from the manufacturer, and I'm not even the afflicted person. As a SW dev, I find it particularly offensive that "engineers" signed off on this.

Yet another bullet to dodge as a #consumer
