Commission for a family friend. The colour palette was a challenge: purple on green. I think I pulled it off, though the medium did not quite allow me to do as vibrant a purple as I maybe could have, to further the challenge. With paint or paint pens, I think I could do better these days.

I made this for my mom's birthday, using acrylic paint markers. I like how the fur came out. Not so happy with the face, but that's more the fault of the weird cut he had in the photo. I was originally intending to fix it in the painting, but did not end up doing so unfortunately. Still, it was fun to do! I will have to do another that's a closeup on his happy face.
