I made a butternut squash soup today and, while I still added a small potato to it, I decided to try and use red kidney beans to thicken the mixture. I had seen recipes where lentils were used to thicken soups and decided to do the same with the beans. The final result was delicious and I wish I had thought about it earlier. #soup #redkidneybeans
