I haven't followed up for this but I can keep using Joey by patching it with ReVanced. I have to supply my own API token but that's fine.

It's been months and it works really well. I haven't got any setbacks such as rate limits. I guess one key per user is enough for someone like me.

Updated my Reddit-Widget for #scriptable to version 1.4.1
I’ve added Lockscreen-Widgets which shows your total Karma or the status of your recent post/comment.
I also changed a bit the look of the homescreen widgets

Making the API too ex$pen$ive for small groups to use has restricted the Reddit user base; it’s lacking diversity now. They’re down to “nice guy”edgelords waiting to grow up enough to join the Blue Check Army over on TwitterX.

The #RedditAPI protests have one big flaw:
You are punishing the users who depend on that information.

There are enough subreddits that don't involve anything related to the livelihood or health of people.

Is there any replacement on the Fediverse for the r/Open_Science subreddit that feeds the @OpenScienceFeed bot?
There's none on https://sub.rehab/ yet, but I'm not sure how long it will outlast further #RedditAPI enclosure.
