Hezbollah claims series of attacks on Israel, red alerts in northern regions
On Sunday, April 12, the Lebanese Shiite organization Hezbollah claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Israeli territory. According to their statement, these actions were a response to alleged ceasefire violations by Israeli forces. The first strike was carried out at 07:10 using drones targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers in the Yaron area. Earlier, at 05:15 and 05:30, two barrages were launched against Israeli vehicles and troops in the town of Khiam. A command vehicle in the Taybeh area was also attacked.
