@SimonCHulse these are two Hase Kettwiesel trikes. From the last one, the front wheel is removed and with some clever attachment the front of the trike is now attached to the rear of the other. This is standard for this trike. You can add as many trike as you want.

@kinetix I love my StreetMachine (HP Velotechnik). It's only a two wheeler recumbent, but it's so fun to ride.

I just need a more suitable area to do rides. I could ride everywhere when I lived in Portland Oregon, but sadly, any form of cycling is pretty much a death wish down here in Sonoma County.

@Triple5 Hi Triple!! I’m new here also. How i hooked up with others was by just tooting a bunch of hashtag labels that reflect what interests you, then click on them from your published toot. I made up the labels and found I was not alone!
Example, I own a #CruzBike and wanted to connect with others. Nada. But I #’d #recumbents. And #cycling and BINGO! I’m started!

Good idea such a poll. Because the addressed groups #bicycles #trikes #recumbents, #pedelecs #eBikes ... are rather sporty, there is now a certain evidence, that the majority can't travel further than 50 km with a #bike. Since the poll integrates all kinds of Lfz with and without #PedalAssist, I would say, we have evidence, that promoting #pedelec up to 45 km/h lighter than 50 kg would advance the #transition of mobility. #verkehrswende #fahrrad #Lfz

I'd fall asleep in that posture. 😅

But seriously, on our streets, that would be the most dangerous mode of #transportation. #Motorbikes are already invisible to many larger vehicles. Recumbents make easy roadkill. 🤷‍♀️ And adding a flag doesn't really make #recumbents more visible. I drive a lot. Yes, I* see them, but only because I'm not distracted. Many drivers out there are distracted while driving.

What is the distance you would/could #bike in a day and still be comfortable* at the end of your ride?

By comfortable, I mean you're not so exhausted that all you want to do is sleep -- you still have energy to do stuff or go sightseeing.

Includes #bicycles, #unicycles, #trikes, #recumbents, #KickScooter, #pedelecs a.k.a. #eBikes with #PedalAssist... anything that uses pure/some human* pedal power.
