As terrible as 2026 has been overall, I’ve found myself reaching out to many friends I haven’t seen in a while. A part of me just misses them & realizes earning the MEd & now PhD has taken years of precious time. While I don’t regret it, I need to make time for the people who matter. Covid undoubtedly affected my desire to go out. It’s incredibly comforting and fun just staying home, watching tv/YT vids, and being slug-like as a procrastination strategy. 😉 But it also feels good to #reconnect.
