The politician option I didn't go with but was thinking of would be a reference to Read or Die. They kinda had the American president be a hapless man as Yomiko dealt with the "I-Jin". Blowing up the White House feels like a mainstay of shows from a certain time, but flying off WTC is awkward now, and exploding the fire on the Statue of Liberty is kinda cool actually. #anime #ReadOrDie
