"Cry for Help" is a song by English singer-songwriter #RickAstley, released as the first single from his third studio album, #Free (1991). It was written by Astley and #RobFisher, formerly one half of the 1980s pop outfits #NakedEyes and #ClimieFisher. #TheAndraéCrouchChoir provided backing vocals. The song is a #ballad, unlike Astley's earlier dance-oriented hit singles. Released as a single on 14 January 1991 by #RCARecords.

He scored another minor hit with "#LetsGetIntimate" featuring #ChantaySavage in 1992. Rush died suddenly on March 22, 1996, of #pulmonaryEmbolism just months shy of his 36th birthday.
