Ok, managed to get this working. Aside from the physical wiring, there's actually nothing to be done at all! All the software is already installed as part of the Pico plugin for Visual Studio. I just needed to enter the debug view, and run with the debugger. Everything else is automatic.

It even respects the "set(PICO_NO_FLASH 1)" directive, uploading the program directly to RAM to avoid burning a hole in the flash during iteration. #raspberrypi #RaspberryPico

Is there a decent how-to on how to setup the Pico probe (or a second Pico acting as probe) stuff so that I can just click the “Run" button on Visual Studio and the program gets deployed to the probed Pico without me having to do anything? #raspberrypi #RaspberryPico

Well fuck! Can’t be more classic mistake - swapping tx and rx! Cutting traces and bodging the tx( the one I really needed) fixed but .. brand new pcb ffs. #meshtastic #uart #RaspberryPico

I want to connect a LORA and a rassbery pi pico, what should I know when connecting them? ("friend" gifted the parts and i can't really ask them for help, nor have I been able to play with rasbeery pico-s much, I have childhood electronic board-basic level of practical understanding of electronics with high school physics theory-understanding)
Should I just give up or can I connect them? Mao?

Baue einen weiteren Controller und hab gestern die Platine für die Elektronik zurechtgeschnitten. Allerdings bin ich von der Qualität der Platine nicht begeistert. Schaut mal genau auf die Löcher auf dem Foto. Kein Loch sitzt neben dem anderen.

Wenn man genau hinsieht, fällt auf, das immer 4 Löcher waagerecht und 5 senkrecht perfekt zueinander ausgerichtet sind, als wär das ein Boraufsatz gewesen (keine Ahnung, wie man Platinen herstellt), der "subotimal" über die Platine bewegt wurde.

Hab einen ganzen Stapel von den Dingern. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass das beim Löten früher oder später zu Problemen kommt, auf der Rückseite ist kein Loch mittig in den Kupferringen.
