In Raoul Walsh's Pursued (1947) Robert Mitchum is on the run, haunted by the past. Reminded me a little of Spellbound. Sometimes touted as a noir western but it isn't very noir. A psychological thriller but a bit tame and a bit disappointing.
My review: https://dfordoom-movieramblings.blogspot.com/2024/07/pursued-1947.html

3 things about Raoul Walsh’s THE REVOLT OF MAMIE STOVER [1956]
1. “Remember, sell, sell, sell. Whiskey and champagne. Smile it up, you new ladies. Smile it up. Remember, smiles means money. Smiles means money.”
2. Rum collins for two on the terrace.
3. Fleeting Hugh Beaumont appearance at the end.
