Eons ago, at work, whilst driving around a small village, I thought I spotted an iPad discarded in the grass verge. We doubled back to check it out. It was a microwave door.
Follow me for now great content! ๐

One of the worst experiences in my career was trying to teach a group of lawyers how to use the internet in 1995. Worst students ever.
I started listening to the Dos Game Club podcast episode about Wing Commander.
3 memories occurred. Seeing a preview of WC1 in ACE magazine and being sad it wasn't coming to Atari ST.
Watching a friend's WC3 promo CD, which had an out take reel from the live action filming. Tom Wilson is a pretty funny guy.
Getting WC4 DVD edition with my Creative Labs MPEG2 decoder card.
This meant my PC had two video pass-through cables. Video card โก 3Dfx card โก MPEG2 Card โก Monitor!
#RandomMemory: Having dinner at someone's house in #Portland in #1996, and them commenting on how the city was getting really expensive, housing-wise.
I have no idea how anyone affords to live there (or any similar popular/populous/coastal cities) today, except for the few wealthy ones.
20 years ago, I dislocated my shoulder taking out the trash (yeah, I know
)
I had a friend come pick me up and take me to the hospital and get it popped back into place. I had to take it easy for a while, and do physical therapy to get most of the strength and range of motion back (although it never fully recovered).
When I was giving my friend an update about a week later, he said, "Bless your heart!" and my brain kinda crashed for a moment, because it never occurred to me that the phrase could actually be used unironically and non-sarcastically. XD
#LivingInTheSouth, y'all. ;)
