I keep hearing from people I know who are testing positive for COVID. With cold and flu season under way, it was inevitable.
And while, for now, the symptoms are mild, it's not guaranteed to stay that way. With each new mutation, there's always the chance it could become both very transmissible as well as more severe.
But, there are things we can do: get vaccinated/booster doses, wear quality masks (KN95/N95), and stay home when you're ill.
Let's remember that while most of us may experience mild symptoms, those who are more vulnerable may get really sick, such as infants, the elderly, and those with weakened immune systems.
