Could it be possible that RAM prices are a way to ensure individuals will only use centralised processing power, i.e. AI laden cloud based products for everything, and pushing us to all to have (and become) dumb terminals, with zero digital autonomy.
That would make all the useless and unwanted AI products unavoidable and perhaps eventually profitable

I bought a set of Crucial 32GB (2x16GB) 5600 CL46 (CT2K16G56C46S5) on October 13th for 5013 UAH (118 USD).
Today the same set costs 18850 UAH (445 USD).
Bloody hell. I wish I bought 64GB.
