Wife's nephew came to visit with his family today. Brought the #recalbox joystick I made for him with a #rpi 3B+ almost 5 years ago. Was unplugged while on so I just had to run a fsck on the sd card. Now updating from recalbox 7 to 10. #retrogaming
Scheize my #rpi running on #libreelec isn’t capable anymore to maintain a stable wifi connection with my router. I don’t understand why, but the raspberry is useless at this point.
I Hope it’s not a hardware issue after less than 1 year of usage..
Today I learnt: To setup a loop device on Linux without root, I can use `udisksctl loop-setup -f filename.img` and it does automatic partition scan. Oh, this makes handling Raspberry Pi (and other embedded) disk image handling so smooth. #til #linux #rpi

I decided not to install #emacs on my new #RPI desktop death star battle station and prefer using #neovim to reduce stress on the RAM.

Damn, I missed lawfully typing :Sex in the command line

@drajt I suppose I could stick a #RaspberryPi in the chain. Attach the kb to the #RPi (maybe via a converter, maybe directly to the GPIO pins), then have that pretend to be a USB keyboard talking to the KVM. Because obviously chucking a 64-bit supercomputer that basically comes free with a box of cornflakes (I so love living in the future!) into the mix will fix everything! It would at least be easier for me to debug.

I should really document this setup.
Playing music with #MusicPlayerDaemon on my #Marantz controlled through a #VT420, both from around 1990.
Software is #MPD on #Debian on an #RPi 2. Soundcard is some cheap old usb Soundblaster, but using #lirc I can control MPD using its controller.
This all took some effort. 😌

Amiga emulator: Amiberry-lite 5.9.2

Amiberry-lite is an Amiga emulator based on WinUAE and, unlike its bigger brother Amiberry, is designed for slower hardware—including the Raspberry Pi 4.

The changes in version 5.9.2 include keyboard controller emulation, key combination management for the disk selection function and the ability to set the border color.
