Anyone interested in a set of four OEM 21” wheels and tires with aero covers from my #Rivian #R1T? I just replaced them with a 20” set. They have about 43,000 miles on them, and tire tread is under 6/32”. I’m happy to deliver or meet half way within reasonable distance of #Baltimore. I’m thinking $700 for the set, or $200 each.

Dropped my #R1T off for regular maintenance, and #Rivian gave me Uber credits so I’m not stuck at the service center while they work (they also would have given me a loaner or rental car, but it should be pretty quick). Apparently I haven’t used Uber since I was in #NewZealand, so my app is still in kilometers, instead of miles.

Apple Car Key w drugiej generacji Rivian R1S i R1T

Rivian aktywował obsługę Apple Car Key w swoich drugiej generacji pojazdach R1S i R1T.

Funkcja działa przez aplikację Wallet na iPhonie i Apple Watch, umożliwiając otwieranie auta za pomocą NFC, a w modelach z Ultra Wideband nawet bez wyciągania telefonu z kieszeni.

Dotąd Rivian oferował własny system cyfrowych kluczy w aplikacji, ale integracja z Apple Wallet zapewnia większą wygodę, m.in. udostępnianie klucza czy Express Mode, który działa nawet po rozładowaniu urządzenia.

Firma nadal nie wspiera CarPlay, stawiając na własny ekosystem, ale wcześniej dodała obsługę Apple Music ze Spatial Audio.

Obviously this thing won't compete with a REAL #RockClimbing vehicle like "#Clampy" cuz that thing - or anything that can even try to compete at "#KingOfHammers" isn't #StreetLegal even by #US standards, and #Rivian certainly made sacrifices to comply with #CrashCompatibility (#EU standards) and be something some #rich #Boomers would want to buy (i.e. A/C instead of CB radio, padded, heated and cooled leather seats instead of hard buckets with 5-point harnesses) since they are the only ones manufaturers want to sell anything at a reasonable price at all ...

  • Still if #GroupB was still around I'm shure Rivian would send in #R1T / #R1S in as #EV|s...
