"At some point, didn't you think that having no data and no results might lead to a less-than-optimal project?"
etc.
"Don't forget your mace and mangle!" I call out to my son as he leaves for middle school.
In the kitchen as dinner cooks, my 12-year old son tries to share innumerable mind-numbing details related to Chernobyl with me and my partner. I sidle up to my partner, put my hand lightly on the back of her neck, and whisper to her "Let's just snog when he talks like this." I lean closer, but she giggles and spins away, saying "I live with crazy people."
As I turned the page of the novel, I noticed a tiny spider, letting itself down to the floor, from the chair near my left thigh. Go in peace, I thought; good luck.
