We're hiring our next Development and Communications Director at Kara Solar to join us in Quito. 🌅 This is a leadership role for someone who is bilingual in English and Spanish and is equally comfortable at a funder meeting in New York as in a community assembly in the Amazon. Can you write compelling grant proposals, manage a coherent communications strategy, and build genuine relationships with diverse partners? Do you want to be a key architect of how Kara Solar tells our story and secures the resources to scale solar mobility in the Amazon? We want to hear from you. Based in Quito, Ecuador. Full-time, hybrid. Start June 2026. Compensation: USD $1,500–$2,500/month in Ecuador, depending on experience and education. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through May 24.
