EDIT: car insurance is now only 1 month behind instead of 3! Let's see what else we can do to improve this situation, fedi!

Atha is bureaucratically and politically disabled from getting a job for a while.
Inamruzui is partly disabled by POTS and sleep issues. Employment is not a simple matter for them to arrange.

Atha was at the food bank yesterday and was given two small shopping bags of canned and dried food for hir and Inamruzui to last a month. Let's raise some funds for the rest of their grocery needs! $300 might be a good start for that.

Let's take another chunk out of Atha's debts! The IRS is being ass, cranking up its non-payment fees. They alone want $860ish. The rest of this part of the request goes to credit cards and car loan and car insurance, with any small change for food.

Then there's the matter of solar batteries: the #Vulpibus systems struggle to store enough energy to keep running overnight in winter.
We need to get them AT LEAST 2 more (ideally 10 more) batteries at around $250 a pop. So $500 (ideally $2500)
Any small change from that goes to cable crimps and mounting hardware.
They also need battery insulation and heaters!

Then there's the matter of insulating more of the bus itself. Not only is the insulation itself needed, so is something to hold it all in place. A layer of thin plywood would be good. Also not a cheap matter.

The bus grows heavier as more is added to it, so care needs to be taken to choose lightweight but sturdy things to fit.

Our recent attempts to gain employment did not go well, as once again employers are scared of those with eclectic CVs who know their rights.

We're stuck $800+ in overdraft, $7000 in car loan and $2000 or so in credit card. My account locked out on me and fees are stacking up.

We need to pay for the car insurance and loan payments, we need to cover my phone bill to get my number and internet reconnected, and we need to be able to move to a more stable location with an internet signal if we are ever to be able to get more useful things done like get a job to afford any more batteries or insulation so we can survive the winter, or work on @vulpinelabs stuff.

Can we please not need to move our home (the Vulpibus) around purely because of running out of currency or being at a free parking lot for too long?

We just need somewhere STABLE to park while we get our shit together.
Somewhere it's okay to put objects outside our vehicles while we arrange and rebuild the interior.
Somewhere it's okay to do a bit of mechanical work so long as we are clean about it (not spilling oil etc).

Township bylaws and corporate policies are really fucking shit for homeless folks including those living in vehicles.
