jobs don't exist because of wealthy people. the whole reason we need jobs in the first place is that wealthy people — with support from the government — enclosed public lands in order to force peasants from subsistence farming into jobs at industrial factories. that process continues to this day. @Grace Blakeley on the Better Future podcast:

A #queering #lens interrupts unjust unchecked ossified #assumptions, disinformation, hegemonic binaries, and opens up new, #democratic, ways of seeing. Queering is a gerund verb, direct action, a liberatory praxis of solidarity and unpacking #structures made invisible by historical and contemporary #hegemony.

📌 On #Tradition, #Queering Official Memory, and The #Creative Process

In 1962, James Baldwin wrote in the essay "The Creative Process"

"When a tradition has been evolved, whatever the tradition is, the people, in general, will suppose it to have existed from before the beginning of #time and will be most unwilling and indeed unable to conceive of any changes in it."

Tech literacy should be a widely taught, ACCESSIBLE programme, and not taught by tech giants or colonial capitalist tech monsters. It should be taught by people who learnt it to break out of a programmable cage, and who question every part of it every day. #tech #literacy #queering #ecology
