JQTODAY! North Coast Two-Spirit conference at Azelea Hall in McKinleyville from 10-4 on Sunday October 1. There's a keynote by Harlan Pruden (First Nations Cree), co-founder of the Two-Spirit Dry Lab; a workshop with Jason Hockaday (Karuk) who researches songs, language, and stories; presentation of the results of a survey of local Queer Native youth; and a panel of local two-spirit people facilitated by Jasmine Pedrosa. The community is welcome to this free event.
