I really enjoyed the #GenderQueer comic book and I realised that on days like today when I can’t focus enough to read a novel or even choose a film/TV episode to read then something like that would be perfect.

What are the best #Queer comics/graphic novels? It’s a genre I know nothing about? Preferably available on Kindle as I live in Japan.

Do you like graphic novels with:
- adventure;
- female pirates;
- queer pirates;
- pirates of colour;
- loosely based on actual history, with a bit at the end telling you which bits are true and a list of nonfiction books if you want to do further reading ?

Then I highly recommend Tell No Tales: Pirates of the Southern Seas by Sam Maggs, illustrated by Kendra Wells.
