From 11 to 14 September, the so-called ‘Society for Evidence-Based Gender Medicine’ (SEGM) plans to hold a conference in Berlin. SEGM is in reality a transphobic think tank and part of an international network that specifically lobbies against healthcare for trans children and young people.
For years, doctors, therapists and scientists associated with it have been spreading misinformation about gender diversity and medical transition, as well as anti-feminist and conspiracy-ideological narratives.
Under the guise of ‘science,’ transphobic positions are disguised as supposedly neutral facts in order to address a specialist audience from the fields of medicine, psychotherapy and science.
The gender-critical attacks on healthcare for trans children and adolescents are now undermining hard-won medical standards in order to deliberately unsettle families and professionals.
At the Chaos Feminist Convention 2025, I introduced #OpenStreetMap to a queer-feminist audience in my talk “OpenStreetMap: the Good, the Bad, the Beautiful.”
CFC was hosted Haeksen (the #FLINTA group in the Chaos Computer Club #ccc). My talk focused on how OSM is good and bad from a queer feminist perspective.

I have read 2 books so far, that I think fit:
#Ace by #AngelaChen: Maybe the standard work on asexuality and a great book to understand and question allo-normativity (allo(sexual) being the opposite of ace/asexual)
#Platonic by #MarisaGFranco: An homage to platonic partnerships and against romantic normativity or also allo normativity (allo(romantic) being the opposite of aromantic here)
I'm next looking for a book on #RelationshipAnarchy to add to the list. Is there like a go-to book or must read? Please let me know.
Also do you know of any other books, that fit into the collection? It can be about/against any kind of normativity, not just related to gender, relationships and identity.
