Easily Pleased#Canberra is very nice, but #Queanbeyan has some gems. And the Hive, and Omar bin Musa, are two of them. Glorious and gut-wrenching poetry and songs plus corellas overhead.
JulieBig drive over the border (big drive for Canberrans anyway) to the big box store where I bought what I couldn’t get yesterday. Then filled up with fuel 20c a litre cheaper than Canberra. Double demerit points now in force but no police anywhere the whole way there or back - but lots of speeding drivers and tailgaters. #canberra #queanbeyan
Jake CoppingerAn interesting oddity - the TfNSW Queanbeyan station upgrade plan still describes the southbound direction (towards Canberra) as "to Cooma".
The last passenger train left Cooma in November 1988 and the last freight train in 1989!
