Can anybody explain, why do I feel like anything but 20 meter is deserted in #hamradio besides #ft8 hoard?
40m is a mess with noise, rouge signals and whatnot and others are silent so many times I stopped calling or listening those frequencies altogether.
Is this continential Europe thing? I am stuck operating #olivia and #psk31 on 14.070

I have two, one 20w and another 10w and non of them delivers remotely they promise. It is under Mediterranean Summer too!!
20w barely produce 6w and 10w is so low I can't measure with my tools right now.
I have spend hours to chase an phantom problem with these panels. I check each cell and connection,diodes and fuses. Nope panels are shit! 😡

I tried almost every ear bud in the shopThey simply don't pair with this radio. JBL 500 bt over ear headphone and JBL clip 3 bt speaker that I found in mud climbing a while ago works. JBL endurance and jabla elite 4 not worked even they support HSP

Last week's @RATPAC #emcomm panel had several memorable quotes that I really hope we follow up on. The one about professional emergency services people avoiding #hamradio people and actively discouraging incorporation of hams into plans was hard to hear. There was a strong consensus that the way forward was "more training" and "appear professional". A quote was "don't show up (to volunteer) dressed like you live under a bridge".
