LeeDon’t buy any of Qardio’s devices. The app has been dead now for a few months. It will not allow anyone to login and the devices need to have app access for many or even all features to work. #qardio #deadapp

A support ticket I raised has never been responded to. I thought I’d just buy a new device as my old one broke, but most items are ‘out of stock’.
A bit of online searching and lots of people having issues over the last couple of weeks and rumours that they’ve gone out of business!
David NasonJust got a #Qardio BaseX weighing scales based off recommendations in the blind community, as it has a companion app. Gotta say I’m pretty disappointed. The VoiceOver #accessibility is not as good as I was expecting. I needed sighted assistance to create my profile, there are unlabelled buttons in places, and the UI could be clearer. I don’t know if it’s switched on or off, and I don’t find any battery level indicator in the app. any tips welcome!
