I went to see 3 different patients on psych wards today and the reactions from some of my colleagues who othered them and acted like they were dangerous escaped criminal lunatics made me super pleased I've said nothing about having been sectioned but also isolated and sad.
I was pleased I was able to bring compassionate care to these individuals but that's why I do this job significantly.
