Both gambling and heavy AI usage are an addiction.
But it's not an addiction to winning or getting information.
It's an addiction to the *fantasy* that you could get enough money or information to make you whole and complete.
(Nothing can do that, because the universe itself is lacking.)

There is no real religious claim being made here. Only a moral one. And (if I'm reading it correctly) it casts aspersion on non-believers without any justification. #Atheists #Theists #Christians are equivalent in the argument... people either act/think with others in mind, or they don't. Religion doesn't come into it.

This sentence makes me think of #Existentialism (which again is not a religious doctrine)...
