Prigozhin staged this whole thing to wrestle control of Putin & the Russian military from their corrupt leadership. 99% of the Russian people consider Prigozhin a hero because he is not trying to replace Putin, rather, in his mind at least, he's saving his country and its president from the leaders who have deceived Putin, caused the humiliating loss in Ukraine and the deaths of 10s of thousands of Russian conscripts.

Why is the US media misrepresenting the situation in #Russia?
Prigozhin didNOT try to stage a coup against #Putin. He exposed the fact that Shoigu and Gerasimov, who are the top military officials & oligarchs, in an effort to kill Prigozhin, have killed 2000 Wagner mercenaries, deceived Putin about the progress of the war & have shown no regard for the lives of Russian conscripts by denying them food, supplies & ammunition, which the oligarchs sold & lined their pockets. 1/3
