Early morning shots from the other day. Saw a light frost on some Purple Dead Nettle (Lamium Purpureum) and Shepherd's Purse/Lady's Purse (Capsella Bursa-Pastoris). Took a couple shots of the grass too. The mirror lens bokeh works really well with that sort of subject. I'll include a couple colour photos at the end for fun.

Camera used is E-M1 Mark II with Rokinon 300mm F6.3 Reflex/Mirror lens.

°•~Purple deadnettle pandemic hors d'oeuvres~•°

1 handful of purple deadnettle
1 tbs Olive oil
2 shakes garlic powder
1 dash of salt
Some crackers or something

Remove some of the flowers

Chop the greens like it's the revolution

Boil the greens for two minutes

Drain the water, add oil, garlic, and salt

Cook on low for another couple of minutes

Dollop into crackers

Garnish with flowers

Thank the feral gods for your snack
