I’m enjoying a Topaz Farm Spiced Pumpkin Ale from #FortGeorgeBrewery, brewed with roasted pumpkins from Oregon’s #TopazFarm and spiced with nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, clove, and allspice. Fall has wound down and we are welcoming the first day of winter, and while I’ve been enjoying winter beers already (of course!), there are still plenty of fall beers available that drink perfectly well during the winter months. This beer was aged in bourbon barrels and, boy, howdy, you can tell. The flavor is powerful and stays with you for a while. I love it.

Last weekend in Seattle (October 4 and 5), the #GreatPumpkinBeerFestival returned for its 20th edition. We last attended this long-running event from #ElysianBrewing way back in 2014, for its tenth anniversary, so when the opportunity came to attend the 20th this year, we decided to go.

The 20th Great Pumpkin Beer Festival started today in #Seattle! This annual event from #ElysianBrewing features many pumpkin beers, fresh hop beers, harvest beers and more along with a carnival-like atmosphere taking place at Seattle Center. It's a pumpkin beer lovers paradise!
