Founded in 1982 by Tom & Emmy Droog as #AlbertaSunflowerSeeds Ltd - moved to #Canada from #Holland in 1972. They began growing #sunflowers in 1982 due to the unreglated nature of the marketplace. They roast/package sunflower/pumpkin seeds, from farms in Alberta & #Manitoba. Acquired by #PepsiCo in 2008.

A male Pumpkinseed is protecting its nest 😊
Some Redbreast sunfish were bugging him 😐
This creek has several sunfish species, like Pumpkinseed (abundant), Bluegill (abundant), Redbreast sunfish (most abundant), Green sunfish (occasional), and some hybrids 😉

I need to get better at filming these things – also, need to be very careful when wading 🤔
