There's a Halloween event happening in Pokémon Go these days. A few days ago I didn't have Pumpkaboo in my pokédex. Now I have fourteen of them. And most of them have cute little Halloween costumes, i.e. a butterfly and a hat.
And funny detail: there are apparently four sizes of Pumpkaboo, and the largest of them makes the hat and butterfly look teeny tiny. Very cute.
for October 2023, i just took the doodles from 2020 (here) and extend it a bit more.

Chihiro is basically the designated touhou reference when i doodle. You may recognise her outfit. Drawing bullet pattern manually is a pain -.-

back in 2020 when pokemon cafe mix (the original) just released, i was in love with the artstyle. So, i drew pumpkaboo mimicking that artstyle.
it took a lot of effort as i'm not very good at art. Definitely could be better but i think i got the style down nicely. This is one of few pieces that i am very proud of even today.
pumpkaboo is now officially in the game, which i unfortunately do not care for anymore (only kept around to see the art lol). i thought of posting this to compare with the official one for fun. official one is so much fluffier!
