This mislabeling poses a serious, life-threatening risk to people with walnut allergies. The affected product has a lot code of 5309 and was manufactured on November 5, 2025. This recalled coffee cake was sold at Publix retail stores in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. If you purchased this product, do not consume it if you have a walnut allergy. Instead, return it to your nearest Publix store for a refund. I didn't know you could add bacon to a #publix chicken tender sub, so yesterday I did that and brought it home.

Today I open the wrapper to heat up the sub... the bacon is raw. Not crispy, not cooked in any way.

I suspect my stomach is not going to be happy with this.
