Arnold: It’s overwhelmingly likely that you both, at some point on your lives, shared a public bathroom with a #transgender person. And that’s what happened.
Rupert: I told you, nothing happened.

This right here, y'all.

If it's right and good and normal and expected for any public restroom to be stocked with toilet paper, soap, and paper towels (and sometimes condoms),

There’s a Portland Loo, installed Feb 2015, at Monterey’s downtown transit center for Monterey-Salinas Transit bus system (that’s at Simoneau Plaza, the triangular plaza at the top of Alvarado Street, which is the city of Monterey’s “main street”). https://bikemonterey.org/where-is-in-the-city-of-monterey.html

As noted in the Tips for Bicycling Monterey County’s “Where to Shower and Change" https://bikemonterey.org/tips-for-tourists/bicycling-but-we-have-plans-tonight, while there’s no shower in it, there is room to change your clothes in the loo.
Please be a “quick change artist,” so others can have their turn to use the loo promptly!

There’s a Portland Loo in Salinas, the Monterey County seat, installed in 2019 as part of MST’s downtown Salinas transit center renovations https://mst.org/news_items/salinas-transit-center-ribbon-cutting/ https://mst.org/wp-content/media/07_Portland-Loo_PC1.pdf

A courtesy flush is always appropriate.

Also, as one gentleman to another, if you have bad aim, please have a seat.

All the closed Starbucks mean even less options for bathrooms in Seattle. #Seattle #PublicBathrooms
In U.S., #publicbathrooms can be hard to find, with only 8 #publictoilets for every 100,000 people. In this comic, we explain why that’s a problem for millions of Americans, and compare with #Iceland #Australia #Canada https://wapo.st/3RcGCB6
Public restrooms are hard to find in America. That’s a problem.

People with chronic bowel illnesses, older adults and more rely on public bathroom access — but they can be hard to find.
