Sov gott Rose-Marie (Sleep tight, Rose-Marie) is the 1968 debut album of International Harvester, the second incarnation of the Stockholm-based band Pärson Sound. Pärson Sound's drone-based experimental rock sound, inspired by The Velvet Underground, Terry Riley and the Rolling Stones, was filtered through a more folky, nationally inspired sound, in hopes to "create a more temporary kind of rhythmic music that could play the same role as traditional folk music."

The push towards a national, anti-imperialist sound came with the pseudo-dystopian mindset that prevailed in the Sweden of the 1960s, something that stood in dire contrast to the 'peace and love' ethos of hippy idealism. Originally intended to be released as an album by Os Mutantes, due to conflicts with the band's record label it was released as a Rita Lee solo effort. The album marks the last time Lee would work with the Baptista brothers before her exit from Mutantes. In a matter of fact, the album was a product of a proper Os Mutantes creative process. The record company Polydor, declined to publish two Mutantes albums within one year (the former was Mutantes e Seus Cometas no País do Baurets). KROKIDIL were one of the few bands outside of Germany who played what could be called Krautrock. These guys are from Switzerland and this album is widly considered to be their best. In the liner notes they tell us how absolutely excited they were to record this record in Dieter Dierks studio, because he had state of the art equipment including a mellotron which they made good use of on 3 of the 6 tracks. Of course Dieter recorded and mixed this album for them. The music here is very psychedelic at times with lots of flute and harmonica. Some aggressive guitar moments, but the folky passages are more prominant. Man these guys are pretty freaky looking (in a good way)haha...
