I'm using my #Psion5 as a writing helper for my comic. I have an outline in the word processor, a timeline in the spreadsheet, and character notes in the database. The database is only just good enough, the other software is very nice.

The Revo has a more readable screen, but the Series 5 has a much nicer keyboard. If you want to type with your thumbs only, the difference doesn't matter.

Either is much better for writing down ideas in odd places (park, train, bed...) than a laptop is.

I was going to make this the first post tagged with the title of my comic, but it turns out one with a very similar title exists on the web. I will have to think of a different title.

Does the #psion5 have a rom version that included the installer program so you can install SIS files direct from CF?
Mine lacks the installer - I can add it via psiwin and serial but it's a pain!
I know the roms are on a daughterboard - are they flash or mask roms?

Attempt #3 at building a #HID pointing device to fit into that small cavity next to the #Psion5 keyboard in my #Cyberdeck with this joystick module... (PS2 IBM trackpoint and Trackball all failed)
First thing to fix with the #3Dprinter is that absurdly big cap 😳
