Been having some intermittent extrusion issues on my prusa and it turns out the bearing on my extruder exploded so, new part on the way to repair it

I've been 3D printing non stop for a few days, I had so many filament leftover spools. Now it's time to paint this thing.
Okay i finished the assembly after 6 more hours. Total build time: 17 hours (no sleep
)
Swapped filament to something else with a plastic spool and holy crap it moves so much more smoothly.
Now I’m wondering how many of my weird problems are simply the result of cardboard spools being too light or creating too much friction. #Prusa #PrusaMk4S #3DPrinting
It will be hilarious if this was the problem, because the A1 tool heads also have a problem where the screws loosen on the mount for the nozzle and you get bad bed probing as a result.
At least Bambu acknowledges this in their wiki though. #Prusa #PrusaMk4S #3DPrinting
All of the screws were somewhat loose. The top ones tightened, but the bottom ones feel like they’re just threaded into plastic and are just spinning.
Started a print and so far so good. #Prusa #PrusaMk4S #3DPrinting
At this point I have to unload and load filament every time or nozzle cleaning fails. This is not what I expected when I paid more than double.
Not sure if this is a PLA problem, a switching from PETG to PLA problem, or just a new problem. Printer homes fine without any filament loaded and works fine as long as it gets past the nozzle cleaning stage.
Yes the little silicone brush that many other printers have is a consumable but maybe that would have been a better idea. #Prusa #PrusaMk4S #3DPrinting
