I revived our very small pool today because it's starting to be hot outside.
One of the O-Rings had disintegrated and i already hat a trip to the hardware store today and it was closed by now.

So, I just loaded up the, at least 5 year old, Ninjaflex filament in my #prusamk4 and #3dprinted a new one in less than 10 minutes including "cad" (if you can call making 2 concentric circles that :) )

That's what i love about #3dprinting

The MMU works well with #Octoprint. I use Octoprint mainly because it offers me more options than the Native Prusa solution. You select the material in the slicer - which should of course be loaded in the MMU - and then send the print file to Octoprint. Octoprint will ask you if you want to print with the submitted filaments or something else, or if everything is ok, and then start the print.

Of course, this requires flawless interaction between the MK4(S) and MMU3 at the hardware level. I had some initial problems with this, but they had nothing to do with Octroprint.

In the meantime, I have made some extensions [(un)original heatbox, different buffer system, housing and a few other small things] so that I could start production.

I used the part cancellation feature for the first time today and I'm pretty happy about how well it worked. Not having to cancel the whole print saved a lot of time and material.

Today I’ve advanced to a next level of 3D printing fan club.

Yesterday, when printing a part for my son’s base the printer went awry and messed it up. I’ve stoped it in the middle of printing. I’ve then tried a tiny few minute model, and it failed.

I’ve decided to run printer calibration and to my surprise it failed. I’ve rerun it 3 times with same result: Y-axis cannot be calibrated.

I’ve spend some time searching and it seemed that a Y-axis belt may be incorrectly fastened. I’ve used Prusa app to check it, but it seemed good.

I’ve been wondering what else may be wrong and had an “aha” moment and decided to check all screws. That’s how I’ve found out that the screws on this little piece have loosen themselves and were causing a slip when an engine was trying to push the printing bed really fast.

Now it works and I can go back and print the joints ;-)

Anyone know why the middle 80-90% of my prints are like this? It's all ripply and rough.

Guessing:
- warped print sheet
- uneven heating or cooling
- printing too hot
