OK...since leaving work I....
....returned two library books, picked up another....
....got the flu shot and the COVID booster...
...picked up my suit from the dry cleaner....
....did the week's grocery shopping...
....and now am at home doing laundry.
It's starting to rain, which makes me glad I'm doing laundry. Fresh clean sheets on the bed are wonderful, but fresh clean sheets on the bed on a rainy night are simply amazing comfort. At least to me.
I was planning to go out and enjoy the nice weather, but about a half-hour ago — almost exactly 20 hours after I had my Covid, shingles, and tetanus vaccines — I started feeling utterly awful. Which I knew might happen, and is why I scheduled them for a Friday afternoon.
Sore, stiff, achy, and also trembling (enough to make typing hard!) and my teeth are chattering. (The apartment is 73°F/23°C.)
Yuck! But losing a weekend beats losing months, like Dianne Feinstein. #vaccines #ProVaxx
