Also reported are the chemical and antimicrobial characterizations of the HOCl microaerosols reportedly used as SARS-CoV-2 prophylaxis within the United States and elsewhere during the pandemic lockdown."

This also implies that you could stick it in a humidifier and disinfect the air of a space that someone infectious may have recently left, in addition to (or as an alternative to, if unavailable) air filtration
